Business requirements scope control and vendor bid management

The European Division of Mercedes Benz Finance which provides vehicle finance and leasing services to Mercedes customers initiated a project to replace a number of legacy systems with a European standard system.

Our role in this project was to manage the definition of country specific business requirements, obtain multiple vendor bids for solution delivery and manage a business scope control process. We implemented and managed essential cost/benefit processes for the functional scope of the project in each country, ensuring that only true business priorities were included within scope for delivery.

The project scope included managing internal teams and software vendors in France, Italy, Spain, Benelux and UK operating companies.
