Acquired by a Benelux based Private Equity Fund this large European Flour Miller was underperforming compared to other European competitors at a time of rapidly rising raw material and energy costs. Over a two year period a team of six consultants focused on rationalising the product portfolio, getting control of purchasing, reducing transport costs, closing excess capacity and getting the organisation shaped appropriately for an increasingly competitive market.
