Andrew Garner
Andrew established his consulting career with McKinsey & Company in the early 90s, and successfully delivered a number of highly successful business strategy and performance improvement projects within the manufacturing sector. Andrew worked for GE in the late 90s and led the European implementation of their Six Sigma initiative in the Group. Andrew was also responsible for the re-design and implementation of 30 separate supply chains within GE’s European light bulb manufacturing business, delivered a reduction in the average order to delivery time from 42 to 8 days as well as improving customer on time delivery from 65% to over 95%. As a result of these improvements some €75m of working capital was released and listings with European supermarkets were greatly increased.
Since 1998, Andrew has focused on business performance improvement and turn-round in companies under private equity ownership, either as a programme director or interim CEO. His experience spans business and operational strategy, sales management, manufacturing, supply chain management, R&D management and purchasing. In addition to English, Andrew speaks fluent Danish and functional Swedish.
